While deploying your New Dell ESXi Hosts you might come across a vUSB Network Adapter visible under the Physical Network on ESXi Host in vCenter UI.

This is because of OS to iDRAC Passthrough Feature enabled on the Dell IDRAC.

In order to remove this Network Adaptor follow the below steps:

  1. Login to iDRAC Console and select iDRAC Setting.
  2. Under iDRAC Settings click on Connectivity and select OS to iDRAC Passthrough.
  3. Under State Select Disabled and Click apply.
  4.  You will see the output as Success.
  5. Post this you should be able to see the Network Adaptor out of the vCenter UI.

Incase if you want to utilize you can place your Management Interface on this, However its strictly for Lab Infrastructure only.
